Our new HOTS coach

Thu 3rd Nov 2016 - 1:22pm : Heroes of the Storm : General : Gaming

Heroes of the Storm is growing to be the marquee game for Invisible Threat Gaming. After a fantastic tournament victory, ITG have continued their excellent run of form by picking up another win in the Heroes Hype tournament currently streaming on Twitch. The success of the HOTS team has prompted us to make a greater investment into the scene and to create a greater understanding of the game for our fans. In order to our teams growing momentum, the ITG recruiting staff, along with the HOTS team, have decided to hire a coach to advise the team during training and games.

Danica 'Kam' McOmber, a passionate HOTS player, says she  “has been a part of the HOTS and overall eSports scene for for over a year now, managing amatuer teams and helping them mature into professionals.”

It was important to us that we found a coach that considered themselves to be a part of the team, not just an onlooker who leaves the team as soon as they enter the match. With Danica, we believe we have found a coach that will be dedicated, hardworking and passionate about the team’s success. “Every win they get will be a testament to my dedication to making them the best” says Danica, who has only recently started work with the team, but says she can already see the foundations of a fantastic young side.

We wish the HOTS team and Danica all the best in the coming weeks, as they continue their training for the HGC qualifiers starting at the end of November, where they will be in the running to be a part of the top 8 seeds.
